Weekly volunteer drop-in gardening sessions are being held at the seed saving demonstration garden. These sessions occur Wednesdays from 6:30-9:00pm and focus on maintenance (weeding, water, mulching), building isolation cages, seed processing and cleaning. Seeds saved will supply the upcoming Concordia Seed Library. Special events will held on certain Wednesdays throughout the summer. Please check our events page regularly for updates on dates, times and locations of these special events.
The Concordia Seed Project needs your help. Help is needed throughout the year for a large variety of different tasks. Much of the help needed surrounds the seasonal activities of seed preservation.
However, there are also many opportunities to help out year round! Please see below for some of these tasks. If you are interested in contributing to this project please contact us - your help would be most appreciated! |
